Book Review: Losing It

Book Review: Losing It by Cora Carmack

Virginity.

Bliss Edwards is about to graduate from college and still has hers. Sick of being the only virgin among her friends, she decides the best way to deal with the problem is to lose it as quickly and simply as possible—a one-night stand. But her plan turns out to be anything but simple when she freaks out and leaves a gorgeous guy alone and naked in her bed with an excuse that no one with half a brain would ever believe.

And as if that weren't embarrassing enough, when she arrives for her first class of her last college semester, she recognizes her new theater professor.

She'd left him naked in her bed about eight hours earlier. . . .

My thoughts: Losing It. Well, it started out pretty well. From operation flirting and looking for a possible man to lose her virginity, it went all so smooth. But then Bliss Edwards suddenly changed her mind. Naked. With a stranger. So I laughed because sudden change of mind is really awkward especially when you’re already naked. But what makes it funny is her reason as an excuse. Bliss making an excuse about her Cat. “Stop! Cats! Stop!” So there, you’ll immediately know that Bliss character is really perky and kind of quirky too.

Then we have the British Garrick. Who wouldn't be drooling over a British accent? Yes her potential guy to losing her virginity to is hot. Way… way hot. But at the same time after flirting with him at a bar the next day she’ll know that he will be her Professor. I know that’s kinda bum right?

I know it says all in the title and synopsis that she’ll be losing it. Losing her virginity but give it a time to still read this. You’ll like being inside Bliss thoughts. It’s so normal! (I mean for us girls) it’s so filled with humour of a girl being anxious of losing it. I really enjoy reading this and there’s really more about Bliss and Garrick that you’ll surely love.
