Book Review: Until Nico

Until Nico (Until #4) by Aurora Rose Reynolds: Sophie Grates has never had it easy, but she’s finding her way through life one step and one day at a time. That is, Until Nico comes in and flips her world upside-down. He forces her to see you cannot live life from the outside looking in, and sometimes you have to step out onto the ledge so you can really enjoy the view.

Nico Mayson knew the moment he saw Sophie Grates that she was the one. His whole life, he has been judged by what’s on the outside, so finding a beautiful woman who sees the real him only makes his feelings that much stronger.

Nico knows the kind of man he is, and the things he is capable of, and he will do everything in his power to help Sophie fight her demons so they can have their happily ever after. Everything in life worth having is worth fighting for.

Being a big fan of the series, the anticipation of the release of Until Nico excited me. The Mayson brothers are forces to be reckoned with when they meet their girl. Throughout the series, Nico remained the darker, edgier brother of the four laughing at the Mayson 'curse'. The minute he lays eyes on "Sweet Sophie" Nico's enraptured by her grace and innocence. The two are complete opposites in looks but reserve the same loyal outlook. Nico blazes into Sophie's delicate existence making her re-evaluate what's important. She's insecure to a fault because of a past she holds onto but it doesn't detract from her character. Her shyness proves to be something Nico believes in and cherishes.

If you've read the first three books in the series you know what to expect. Aurora Rose Reynolds writes alpha males whom, once they fall in love, love hard and fast. Nico is no exception with his foul mouth, possessive streak, and his absolutely undeniable sweet charm.

Until Nico reads very quickly. There were plot points that I felt were really rushed that I wished could have been expounded upon more. Until November and Until Lilly remain my favorite two Mayson Brother stories. But overall, you get exactly what you've come to love about ARR' books: alpha males, sweet heroine's, some fun drama, and the happily ever after you crave. And the best part? This author writes the absolute best epilogues giving us a glimpse into the future of the main characters. Nico and Sophie's story is can't miss tale!
