Book Review: Submit

Submit (Songs of Submission #3) by C.D. Reiss: "You’re mine. The minute I told you to spread your legs and you did it, you were mine. When I told you to beg for it and you did, you were mine. When you put your hands behind your back without being told, I owned you."

No. God, no.

My name is Monica, and no matter what Jonathan says, I am not submissive.

TeriLyn's thoughts: I'm slowly re-reading SoS in bits and pieces. No one does it for me like Jonathan Drazen - he's my ultimate book boyfriend. Reiss's writing is cunning and witty with flawlessly executed plots. Conflicts arise and resolve leading to the end where you're just starting at your Kindle wanting MORE. Even knowing the story and having read it several times the writing still pulls at my heart. Reading a Reiss book is like watching a movie play out in your mind. Every installment gets better and better. I love Monica; her personality, her wit, her charm. And Jonathon Drazen is awesome for all the same reasons. Oh...and he calls her goddess and I think it's super hot. They're playful, they're in tune with each other and they're fun. The writing continues to amaze me. It flows so flawlessly I can believe it's the end of the story yet I still learn so much about these characters; it's completely engrossing.

Lori's thoughts: Johnathan Drazen is amazing. CD Reiss weaves an amazing tale with the Songs of Submission. I breezed right through the first 3 in the series, and am anxious to read the next books. Monica and Drazen are great together. I highly recommend you start reading this series today. You won't be disappointed!
