Book Review & Giveaway: The Unimaginable

We're celebrating the release of The Unimaginable by Dina Silver

Title: The Unimaginable
Author: Dina Silver
Age Group: Adult
Genre: Contemporary Romance/Mystery/Suspense

From the author of One Pink Line comes a story about letting go of the past and finding bravery in the depths of fear. Set on the sun-soaked beaches of Thailand and the rough waters of the Indian Ocean, The Unimaginable paints a vivid portrait of a young woman on a journey to find herself—and her harrowing fight for survival.

After twenty-eight years of playing by the rules, Jessica Gregory moves from her small Indiana town to Phuket, Thailand. But her newfound routine is upended with the arrival of Grant Flynn, a captivating, elusive man who is sailing around the world while trying to move on from a past tragedy. Jessica volunteers to help crew Grant’s boat, Imagine, on a passage across the Indian Ocean and finds herself falling in love with him as the voyage gets underway. But when disaster strikes, Jessica must summon her courage as the crew is confronted by unspeakable terrors––and, aboard a boat named for such promise, comes the unimaginable.

Lori's thoughts: I worried when I started this book a couple of days ago that I didn't have enough time to read it before the review was due. As it turns out, I needn't have worried. I couldn't put it down. The characters are people who will stay with me long after the book was finished. As soon as I started reading, I was catapulted into another world. I could see this as a movie. Definitely!

Jessica is an amazing woman, if not a little naive to what's out there beyond her life in the heartland of Indiana. I admire her for going after her dreams and dreaming big. Grant Flynn. What can I say? Such a wonderfully selfless man. Some might see him as selfish, I see him as selfless. He, also, was not afraid to dream and chase his dreams literally around the world.

Some otherworldly cause put these two people into one another's path.

I laughed and I cried and I was completely caught up in the story. I had to see what happened next. Many times I found myself holding my breath. And I couldn't have christened the new boat with a better name! YES!

Highly recommended, FIVE HEART read!
